BoxBuilder checks the inventory level of a product based on your Location's settings. Specifically, the app verifies if the product is stocked in a location that fulfills online store orders. This is a crucial step to ensure accurate stock information for your customers.
If a product is stocked in other locations, but the setting to fulfill online orders from those locations is turned off, BoxBuilder will not consider the available stock from those locations. As a result, the app might still show the product as out of stock, even if stock is available in a different location.
