1. Mix-and-match
Mix-and-match is a bundle comprising interchangeable items, where customers customize the bundle by selecting from a range of products and their respective variations.
Shopify Bundles can only create fixed or multipack bundles, which means customers cannot customize the products they want to add to the bundle.
With BundleBuilder, you get to have all the options. You can do mix-and-match, as well as the option to create fixed or multipack bundles by preselecting items in your bundle settings.
2. Subscriptions
Subscriptions have revolutionized the way we access goods and services, offering convenience and flexibility to consumers while fostering long-term relationships between businesses and their clientele.
Currently, Shopify Bundles does not work with subscriptions. BundleBuilder, on the other hand, offers this great feature! You can watch the video walkthrough about adding a subscription step here. https://box-builder.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/16619418849691-Video-Walkthrough-Adding-a-subscription-step
3. Unlimited products
Wouldn’t it be great if you could add an unlimited number of products to your bundle, offering more options to choose from for your customers? Shopify Bundles can only allow up to 30 different products in the bundle. However, that’s not a problem with BundleBuilder!
4. Unwrapping the bundle
It makes sense to treat bundle items as a single item, which is how Shopify Bundles works. However, you may encounter challenges with fulfillment services wherein you’re required to itemize what’s inside the bundle to correctly count product quantities and fulfill the order. Shopify Bundles does not have the option to unwrap your bundle.
With BundleBuilder, you both have the option to wrap and unwrap your bundle. The app’s "Use Your Own Products" option ensures that your orders appear with individual products rather than as a single bundle builder in the order. You can also reach out to us for further support with unwrapping your bundles!
