After setting up your bundle and checking to see how it looks in your shop, you might find yourself wondering why prices are showing different from what you’ve set in the product settings.
One factor that mostly affects how prices are shown on your website is your Markets settings in Shopify. You may have activated international markets and set different pricing in these other regions. Take a look at the screenshot below and say for example your local region/country is the USA.
If you’ve set US Dollar (USD $) as your base currency, but you’ve set a price increase of 10% for international regions, like Australia, Canada, etc., then people viewing your store outside the US will see a 10% higher price than the price you’ve set in your product settings.
Example:
Your product price: 50 USD
Price in the international region: 55 USD
Another scenario is when you enable “Show prices to customers in their local currency”. People viewing your store in international regions will see a different price because the price you’ve set in the product settings will be automatically converted to their local currency.
Example:
Your product price: 50 USD
Price in the international region (ie. Canada): around 67.80 CAD
